Da ricordare che un ulteriore sistema di jamming per i missili IR (almeno per i più antiquati) sono semplicemente i flares (e, agli albori dei sistemi, il puntare il muso dell'aereo contro il sole, sperando che il missile agganciasse quest'ultimo).
