Il noto sito cita l'altrettanto noto "Spiegel" in relazione alla certificazione dell'A400 in Germania. Ora, il quadrimotore era stato acquistato nel 2003 con un contratto fatto dall'allora governo rosso-verde. L'attuale ministero della difesa De Maizières ha scoperto seri "errori" nel contratto che creano problemi per la certificazione militare. Sarà necessario creare un nuovo ufficio con ben 400 dipendenti. La certificazione civile è già ottenuta. Vabbè... come si dice nei Paesi tedescofoni un grosso ... "Skandal"!

On behalf of the seven European nations buying the Airbus Military A400M, the French government defense procurement agency (French acronym DGA) announced that the new airlifter had achieved military certification.

A DGA spokesman told AIN that two more steps are required before this can happen ....

Airbus Military announced on 17 July that the A400M could land on an airstrip, keep its engines running to allow an immediate departure and deploy a Scimitar armoured reconnaissance vehicle and a weapons-mounted support vehicle with a trailer.

Up to 60 troops can also be deployed with the vehicles.

L’A400M a reçu sa certification militaire ....

 

Airbus Military annonce aujourd’hui que l’A400M a obtenu son certificat militaire selon le standard Initial Operating Clearance (IOC). La certification délivrée par l’OCCAR concrétise la livraison attendue du premier appareil « dans les prochains jours » à l’Armée de l’air française qui en sera le premier bénéficiaire.

After development and production activity lasting just over 10 years, Airbus Military's A400M military transport is now an in-service asset, following the delivery of lead aircraft MSN7 to the French air force.

France's DGA defence procurement agency on 1 August authorised the aircraft's acceptance, following several months of discussion with the manufacturer.

Turkey's first A400M performs taxi trial ....

 

Turkey's first A400M tactical transport has moved a step closer to delivery, with the aircraft having performed its first engine runs and taxi trials at Airbus Military's San Pablo final assembly site in Seville, Spain.

Aircraft MSN9 is the first of 10 A400Ms on order for the Turkish air force, and the third production example of the type to have been completed, following two French air force examples.

E la Spagna ne acquisterà 13 in meno ....

 

French Accept First A400M; Spain Wants Fewer ....

 

The seven European partner nations in the program have contracted for a collective 170 aircraft.

But the export situation has been complicated by the desire of some European nations to reduce their offtake.

Germany revealed some time ago that it wants only 40 instead of 53.

Last week, a defense official told the Reuters news agency that Spain wants only 14, instead of 27.

When France published its new six-year defense procurement plan last week (French acronym: LPM), it did not confirm that the country will still acquire the 50 A400Ms originally planned.

The UK is the next biggest customer, having already reduced its total to 22 from 25.

Turkey's first A400M gets airborne ....

 

Airbus Military has performed a 5h 30min first flight with an A400M transport for the Turkish air force.

Conducted from the manufacturer's San Pablo final assembly site in Seville, Spain on 9 August, the milestone moves aircraft MSN9 closer to its planned delivery later this year.

Airbus Military has previously outlined a schedule to hand over Ankara's first of 10 examples in late September.

Si è appena conclusa in Spagna la terza serie di prove su piste non pavimentate ....

 

L'A400M goûte à la terre et au gravier ....

 

C'est un environnement auquel il sera régulièrement confronté : les pistes non goudronnées, faites de terre et de gravier. Airbus Military vient en effet d'annoncer que l'A400M a terminé une série d'essais sur piste sommaire en Espagne, plus précisément sur un terrain à Ablitas dans le nord de l'Espagne, près de Saragosse.

France formally accepts A400M transport ....

 

Airbus Military has ceremonially handed over the A400M tactical transport to the French air force, almost two months after lead aircraft MSN7 arrived at its Orléans air base.

During ceremonies held at the manufacturer’s San Pablo final assembly site in Seville, Spain, and at Orléans on 20 September, the A400M was formally accepted by French defence minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and air force chief of staff Gen Denis Mercier.

France has accepted its second A400M Atlas tactical transport from Airbus Military, with the aircraft due to touch down at the French air force’s Orléans base later this week.

One of 50 A400Ms on order for France, and first flown on 7 June (above), aircraft MSN8 was formally accepted on 6 November ....

Airbus Military’s decision to bring the A400M airlifter to the Dubai Airshow for the first time is a reflection of the maturity of the program, says Ian Elliot, the company’s head of defense capability market development.

Delivery of the first aircraft for the third customer - Turkey - is imminent, and may coincide with the show.

DUBAI: Airbus reveals long-term forecast for A400M ....

Airbus Military’s Dubai debutant A400M might have reached the international market too late to vie for the Middle East region’s recent investment in large transport aircraft, but the company hopes to “reverse this situation very soon”.

Revealing a new long-term sales forecast at the show, head of market development Gustavo Garcia Miranda says around 330 military transports – including 130 in the A400M’s size class – are likely to be sold in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by 2042. “We would like to take maybe half of it,” he says of the expected business.

L'ultimo volo di "Grizzly One" ....

 

A400M : "Grizzly One" sort une dernière fois de sa tanière ....

Après presque quatre ans de bons et loyaux services, le premier prototype de l'A400M a réalisé son tout dernier vol le 4 novembre dernier, à Toulouse.

MSN 1, également connu sous la désignation de « Grizzly 1 », avait réalisé son premier vol le 11 décembre 2009 à Séville.

C'est précisément cet exemplaire qui avait servi à l'ensemble des essais d'ouverture du domaine de vol.

Spain to operate fewer A400Ms, but seek tanker purchase ....

 

Spain’s air force expects to be able to employ only around half of the A400M tactical transports on order from Airbus Military, but hopes to widen its fleet renewal effort to also introduce a new fleet of A330-based tankers.

“We will receive 27 [A400M] aircraft, but due to budget restrictions we plan to operate and maintain only 14,” Brig Gen Miguel Angel Martin Perez, chief of the service’s planning branch, told SMi’s Military Airlift conference in Seville on 3 December.

La Germania non ha fretta ....

 

Berlin voudrait retarder l'arrivée de son premier A400M ....

La valse des reports de livraisons continuerait-elle à toucher l'A400M, et tout notamment ceux destinés à l'Allemagne?

C'est du moins ce que rapporte le quotidien allemand Handelsblatt, citant le ministère de la Défense allemand.

MSN 18, le tout premier A400M de Luftwaffe pourrait finalement ne pas être réceptionné en novembre 2014, mais plutôt à la mi-2015.
