Designed to carry troops, guns, jeeps, and ammunition, it has entry ramps at both ends of the fuselage. Typical load might consist of 450 troops or three 15-ton tanks.

Chu CJC-3 1952 The Humming Bird light helicopter was designed by Major-General C.J. Chu in China during 1945. His Model A Humming Bird was a tiny coaxial helicopter with an enclosed fuselage pod and a 125hp Kinner engine, which was destroyed in ground testing. The subsequent Humming Bird B was similar, but it is not clear whether either helicopter flew - and the Humming Bird B was abandoned in China when Chu fled to Formosa. In 1952, he produced a small tandem-rotor helicopter known as the CJC-3 which was a side-by-side two-seater with a centrally-mounted 190hp Lycoming engine and fixed four-leg undercarriage. No further information is available.

This is the desert version of the expeditionary squadron patch for the 128th Airborne Command and Control Squadron located at Robins AFB, GA. They fly the E-8C Joint STARS aircraft and are one of the other new "unsung" heroes of the new military. They were previously the 128th Bomb Squadron of the GA Air National Guard.

This is the Seagull patch for the 101FS squadron from Cape Cod, which is in fact their "daily" patch and not the "Friday" patch. They wear the Seagull on the right shoulder and the "Mass Air Guard" patch on the left which serves as kind of a wing patch (Only wing weenies wear the "OMNIS VIR TIGRIS" 1775 patch). The Seagull patch, otherwise affectionately known as the "Dumpster Duck", is in fact the oldest patch still in use in the Air Force - it was the patch of the 101st Observation Squadron from WW1 era timeframe. Some people hate it, some love it, I think it's kind of unique because we don't even have a squadron name (although unofficially "The Magnificent Bastards" is catching on, or "MagBastards" for short). Quoto Pap, anche io vedrei bene un bel Strike Eagle, inoltre anche lo sfondo operativo proposto mi sembra molto convincente!

This is the patch for the 509th Transportation Squadron.

This patch was created for the 15 Special Operations Squadron, Crew 8. I think this is the reject of the 2 final patches. Their aircraft also is the Combat Talon II C-130.
